🛒 Ingredients

For the Patties:

  • 1 lb ground chicken 🍗

  • ¼ cup panko breadcrumbs 🍞

  • 1 tbsp baharat spice blend 🌶️

  • 1 tsp garlic powder 🧄

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice 🍋

  • 4 burger buns 🍔

Yogurt Sauce:

  • ¼ cup plain yogurt 🥛

  • 1 tsp lemon juice 🍋

  • ½ tsp sumac 🌿

Toppings:

  • ½ cup sliced tomatoes 🍅

  • ½ cup shredded lettuce 🥬

  • ¼ cup thinly sliced red onion 🧅


📋 Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven 🌡️
    Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly mist a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray 🥄.

  2. Make the Patties 🍗
    In a bowl, combine ground chicken, panko, baharat, garlic powder, lemon juice, and salt. Mix until just combined. Form into 4 equal patties 🍔.

  3. Bake ⏲️
    Place patties on the prepared sheet. Bake for 15 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

  4. Prepare the Yogurt Sauce 🥣
    In a small bowl, stir together yogurt, lemon juice, and sumac. Chill until ready to serve.

  5. Warm the Buns 🍞
    Place buns in the oven for the last 2–3 minutes of patty cooking time to warm through.

  6. Assemble the Burgers 😋
    Spread yogurt sauce on the bottom buns. Add the chicken patty, followed by tomato slices, shredded lettuce, and red onion. Cap with the top bun and serve immediately.
