Toppings:

  • ½ cup finely shredded lettuce 🥬

  • ¼ cup thinly sliced red onions 🧅

  • ¼ cup fresh tomato slices 🍅

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly spray a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.

  2. Prepare the patties: In a bowl, combine ground chicken, panko, cream, white pepper, and salt. Mix until fully combined, then shape into 4 even-sized patties.

  3. Bake the patties for about 15 minutes, or until they are fully cooked and reach an internal temperature of 165°F.

  4. Make the sauce: Stir together the yogurt, cream, and cardamom until smooth. Set aside for layering.

  5. Toast the burger buns in the oven for the last 2–3 minutes of baking to warm and crisp them.

  6. Assemble: Spread the malai sauce on the bottom half of each bun. Add a chicken patty, followed by lettuce, red onion, and tomato slices. Finish with the top bun and serve immediately.
