🛒 Ingredients

For the Chicken Patties:

  • 1 lb ground chicken 🍗

  • ¼ cup crumbled feta cheese 🧀

  • 2 tbsp finely chopped red onion 🧅

  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley 🌿

  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill (or 1 tsp dried) 🌿

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced 🧄

  • 1 tsp dried oregano 🌿

  • ½ tsp salt 🧂

  • ¼ tsp black pepper 🧂

  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs (optional for binding) 🍞

For the Tzatziki Sauce:

  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt 🥛

  • ¼ cup grated cucumber 🥒 (squeeze out moisture)

  • 1 garlic clove, minced 🧄

  • 1 tsp lemon juice 🍋

  • 1 tsp chopped dill 🌿

  • Salt & pepper to taste 🧂

To Serve:

  • 4 burger buns or pita pockets 🍔

  • Sliced tomato 🍅

  • Sliced cucumber 🥒

  • Red onion rings 🧅

  • Lettuce or baby spinach 🥬


📋 Instructions

1. Make the Tzatziki Sauce 🥣
In a small bowl, combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, garlic, lemon juice, dill, salt, and pepper. Mix well and refrigerate until ready to use.

2. Prepare the Chicken Patties
In a large bowl, mix ground chicken, feta, red onion, parsley, dill, garlic, oregano, salt, pepper, and breadcrumbs (if using). Form into 4 equal-sized patties.

3. Cook the Patties 🔥
Preheat a skillet, grill, or oven to medium heat. Cook patties for 5–6 minutes per side or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

4. Assemble the Burgers 🍔
Spread tzatziki sauce on the bottom bun or inside pita. Add a chicken patty, then layer with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and red onion. Top with more tzatziki and the top bun or fold the pita.

5. Serve & Enjoy 😋
Serve warm with a side of lemon-roasted potatoes or a Greek salad 🥗.
